IN THE MARCH ISSUE of Details, investigative reporter Anna David ripped the lid off crystal meth use among powerful movie execs (cocaine is so ’80s). In the current issue, she exposes the world of high-class Hollywood prostitution, which has evolved since Heidi Fleiss’ heyday. (Everything’s digital and online.) The “new” Hollywood Madam is named in this piece. The, uh, old one, Heidi, plans to open a brothel in Las Vegas once prostitution is legal there. Heidi says, “Alexander the Great conquered the world at 33 and died. I did it when I was 22.” Nothing like having a role model. David seems to be carving out a niche uncovering the seedy side of deluxe living. Next stop, Manhattan?
