You don’t seem to be suffering for it.
[The disease] never slowed me down. People ask me, “Are you tired?” I go, “I’m a single mom. I’m always tired. It has nothing to do with hepatitis.” But I’m a vegetarian and go to bed when my kids go to bed at 9 o’clock, unless I’m out all night. I kind of have a balance because I have great friends and a lot of fun and I still have a glass of champagne every once in a while.
What’s the best thing about getting older?
Just having all the experiences that you have behind you. You start realizing as you get older that no relationship is a failure. I feel great in this part of my life, too, because I have my home and kids. I can look after myself and don’t need someone to pay my rent, you know? So I don’t have to think about those things when I’m looking at new relationships.
I have to ask: Do you have a favorite and least favorite body part?
My breasts and my breasts.
Sometimes favorite, sometimes least favorite?
Exactly. I have a love-hate relationship with them.
